Loddon Auctions is a specialist auctioneer in the sale of cigarette cards, trade cards, postcards, sport memorabilia, stamps, coins, beer labels and all manner of other paper collectables and ephemera.
We aim to provide an excellent service individually tailored to meet the needs of both buyers and sellers.
We offer a friendly and approachable service and have a large contact list of established customers ready to purchase the material on offer. We hold 7-8 auctions annually, are located just South of Reading, Berkshire.

The live action for our January 2026 auction is now complete and the invoices, to include P&P, are now being sent out.
If you would like to collect your Lots in person, or arrange for a courier to do this on your behalf, then please contact the office by email as soon as possible.

We remain busy behind the scenes cataloguing lots, taking pictures and generally trying to get organised for the event, the deadline for consignments has now passed.

Loddon Live
Based upon technology from our long-term online auction provider, www.the-saleroom.com, you will now be able to place both live and pre-Sale bids through our site.
This will be at the reduced Internet rate of 3% for a total commission of 22%, as opposed to 4.95% (total 23.95%) when placing bids via
the-saleroom.com.
To use this new service you will need to register your interest using the 'Loddon Live' link at the top of the page.
Postage & Packing
All Post & Packing is done in house, at minimal cost, and unlike many of our competitors we do not seek to make a profit on the P&P, merely to recover our costs. We routinely ship lots to successful bidders across the world.
After each auction our in-house staff combine the Lot(s) for each winning bidder and calculate the postage charges, which are shown separately on the invoice before being sent to you. We normally use Royal Mail and Parcelforce for our deliveries. We always combine Postage where possible.
We are happy to work with you should you wish to use your own courier.
We are aware that for certain locations, and/or package sizes, there may be other delivery services available which may be more suitable; should you wish to arrange for your own courier then you may like to try Mail Boxes etc., details as below:
